Not all USB hubs work with the BeagleBone Black. The following USB hubs are reported to work.

I found this information on the web, but I am sure there are many more that also work with the BBB. Obviously I have not been able to tested them.

Warning: The power used by the USB devices should not exceed the maximum power output of the USB hub (or the BeagleBone Black if one is pluged directly into it).

Note: You will need a powered USB hub if you want to use several USB devices at the same time. (mouse, keyboard, camera, ...)
