Introduction

These instructions are for Windows.

Step 1. Download the XAMPP installer

Download the latest installer from here .

Step 2. Follow the XAMPP installation instruction on the website

Install in C:\xampp

Step 3. Configure XAMPP

The following steps use the XAMPP console to:

1. Stop Apache, MySQL, and FileZilla (if started)
2. Click on the red X and make Apache and FileZilla Windows servces
3. Click of the green checkmark to make MySQL NOT a Windows service
4. Start Apache and FileZilla
